Option trading is a relatively new concept. I believe
most investors know, or think they know, about stock investment but very
few are aware of option trading. It surprises me to see even some
financial advisors have no clue about option trading; hence, they don’t
have their own portfolios protected in a down market. I am told option
trading is risky and I blindly believed it until I started learning and
trading option in 2005. I will try to make option trading a clearer
picture for those who are interested in option trading and consequently
have more choices in their investment strategy.
Option is a relatively complex concept. I don’t
expect all of the readers of this newly created investment column
thoroughly understand option simply by following what is presented here.
I am sure some of the readers will have questions and I will try my best
to answer them. Any question should be directed to KHAIMINH.ORG ( general@khaiminh.org ). All
